Born and bred in Medellin, Columbia Edwin started his dancing career at an early age. At the young age of 8 he started his training in Ballet. A few years later Edwin saw a Tango dance on the streets Medellin and fell in love. He decided then and there that he wanted to pursue this as his dream however later was told that he would have to learn the rhythm of other dances before he could be taught the rhythm of Tango.

After working hard for many years Edwin achieved his dream and went on to become National Tango Champion twice in his career. Working with BNF gave Edwin many opportunities including one of his most important decisions of moving to Dubai. In 2006 he came to Dubai as the Artistic Director, Main Dancer and Choreographer. Teaching a new part of the world who were hungry for Tango and Salsa as well as bringing a creative and professional dance quality to a lacking region forwarded Edwins’ career to a whole new level.
